The Marsh Awards celebrate the outstanding contributions of those who are committed to social, cultural and environmental causes. It is for people who are at the heart of the charity sector and who voluntarily or professionally go above and beyond to make a difference. In partnership with Marsh Charitable Trust this award recognises a volunteer who has made an outstanding contribution to marine conservation and who has furthered the work of the Wildlife Trusts.
Awards
The Rothschild Medal is usually given to someone outside The Wildlife Trusts movement who has made an outstanding contribution to the natural environment at a UK or international level, through either shaping policy, increasing awareness, inspiring people, raising funds or through a groundbreaking study or innovative scheme. The Christopher Cadbury Medal is is an annual award that is given to a member of a Wildlife Trust who has shown dedication to the advancement of nature conservation within the British Islands.

Volunteer
Volunteer to help wildlife in your local area. Volunteering opportunities range from community gardening, species surveying, caring for nature reserves, dry stone walling, hedge laying, habitat management, to running Wildlife Watch groups. You could volunteer organisational, IT, administrative or financial skills too. Both regular and casual volunteers are needed.
Marsh Volunteer Award for Marine Conservation
The Marsh Volunteer Award for Marine Conservation recognises a volunteer who has made an outstanding contribution to marine conservation and who has furthered the work of The Wildlife Trusts, and is given in partnership with The Marsh Charitable Trust.
Marsh Young Volunteer Award for Marine Conservation
This Award is run in partnership with the Marsh Charitable Trust and recognises a young volunteer who has made an outstanding contribution to marine conservation and who has furthered the work of the Wildlife Trusts in this area.
