Celebrating 30 Days Wild 2025

In 2025, hundreds of thousands of people, from school children, and families to care homes and businesses signed up to take part in 30 Days Wild!

From small moments like enjoying a morning brew to the sound of birdsong to big adventures like the first wobbly attempt at paddleboarding, each and every one invited nature’s magic into their life.

That's definitely something to celebrate. Here is just a handful of some of the amazing stories from people just like you, who embraced the wilder side of June.

"This is my sixth year doing 30 Days Wild and it's become my favourite month. Like many, I struggle to relax, but June is when I find peace through connecting with nature.

My favourite moments have been with loved ones in beautiful wild spaces – like walks after work or a barbecue with friends in both rain and shine! I’m looking forward to continuing the 30 Days Wild fun by running Forest School crafts at a local park Fun Day

Every year, 30 Days Wild reminds me just how deeply connected our mental wellbeing is to the time we spend in nature.”

“For me, 30 Days Wild has been a constant in my life for many years. Each June, I challenge myself to do something wild every day and share my experiences on social media.

I’m passionate about the natural world, especially birdwatching. This year I watched nesting gulls in Bristol, explored the nature in my garden, embraced the seabirds in Yorkshire, logged a record bird list at Gibraltar Point in Lincolnshire and stopped for every screaming swift.

30 Days Wild has allowed me to focus on nature in greater detail over the years. It gives me a purpose, a hope and a huge sense of admiration for our British wildlife. 30 Days Wild has become an integral part of my life, both on a personal level and a shared experience with my wife.”

"Being outdoors is magic for my children's physical and emotional wellbeing. 30 Days Wild is a beautiful and guided way for us to be present in nature, while the children (and I!) can focus on diving into the wonders of the wild.

We've grown veggies, printed with pressed flowers, wild walked, gone on a bug hunt and are now making pollinator art for the girls to have an 'exhibition' in the garden. We all absolutely love it!"
