Member: Steering Group for Young People

Volunteer remotely
We're looking for advisory members aged 16-30 to join our Steering Group!

The Steering Group for Young People will support and enable The Wildlife Trusts' Council to achieve its strategic ambitions by providing key insights, advice, guidance and perspectives of people aged 16-30 years old.

We are looking to bring together a group of committed and engaged youngpeople to join our steering group as advisory members. You must be aged 16-30, and can be based anywhere in the UK.

As an advisory group member, you'll be part of a group of passionate peers brought together to share perspectives and ideas around nature and what it means to young people. Together, you'll help us to make important decisions that will help shape the future of The Wildlife Trusts and the work that we do.

We're not asking for any specific knowledge or experience from our candidates. If you believe that everybody deserves access to nature and you'd like to amplify the voices of young people, then we want to hear from you!

The role is voluntary but travel and subsistence expenses can be claimed in line with the organisation’s expenses policy.

The Steering Group for Young People will meet online three times per year and once in person.
