Meet your hosts...
Sophie Pavelle
Adventurer and science communicator Sophie shares her passion for wildlife and nature with thousands of fans through her incredible social media profile. Sharing the quirkier stories from the natural world in Sophie’s unique and engaging communication style, she has spoken at a number of Wildlife Trust events. Sophie has written her second book To Have or to Hold: Nature's Hidden Relationships, a thrilling exploration of nature's symbiotic relationships, some comforting and familiar, others wildly alien.
Emma Brisdion
Emma is a UK-based environmental communicator, podcast producer, and campaigner dedicated to making climate science accessible and engaging. She's the creator of For What It's Earth – a hopeful nature, sustainability and climate action podcast, which she hosts with author Sophie Pavelle – and produces podcasts for environment charities. Emma has led Arctic climate change communication projects in northern Sweden, and, when not hiking, foraging or tending to her organic veg patch, she now focuses on raising public awareness of the health of the UK’s rivers and championing their restoration.
