We're concerned that peat use is increasing and want to gather more information.

  • When you are shopping, please take a moment to check for any peat-based, or peat-free products available. Please look closely at any products that do contain peat. What is the labelling like? Does it make it look like the product is environmentally friendly? Take a clear photo if you can.
  • When talking to others, what are others saying about peat? Do they feel clear about what they are buying?

We will use your information – but not your personal details – to inform our campaign.

Have you, or people you talk to noticed products that contain peat in other places? For example, if you have an allotment, have you seen an increase in other people using products that contain peat compared to the past 3 years?
