Give a Valentine’s gift from the wild heart of Northumberland
This Valentine’s Day, give a gift that comes straight from the heart.
The Rothbury Estate is a rare, heart-shaped expanse of moorland, woodland and rivers in Northumberland. A place where wildlife, history and people are deeply connected. By making a donation as a gift to your Valentine you can protect this wild heart.
Show your love for someone special and for nature.
Rothbury isn’t just beautiful. It’s vital. It can connect a growing wildlife corridor across Northern England, to create one the largest areas for wildlife in England. Right now, its future is still being secured.
Your gift will give space for curlews to call, red squirrels to thrive and nature to recover at scale.
A gift with heart.

You'll be part of securing The Rothbury Estate forever as a living, breathing landscape where nature and communities thrive together.
Thanks to generous support, including philanthropic loans, we have already purchased part of The Rothbury Estate, which includes the much-loved Simonside Hills. If you would like to discuss a major gift, please contact The Wildlife Trusts' head of major gifts Debbie Johnson.
All funds raised - including any funds raised over our target amount - will go towards nature’s recovery at The Rothbury Estate.
In the event we don’t raise enough funds to purchase the entire Estate or we are unable to complete the purchase for any reason, funds raised will go towards nature's recovery in the Simonside Hills and surrounding areas.
