The extraordinary success of our September match appeal, raising over £1.6m for The Rothbury Estate, has inspired even more generosity. Now, three more donors have come forward to fund a £150,000 match. 

As we race towards the finish line, there's still time to double your donation. Until the purchase is completed at the end of October, every £1 given will be matched up to £150,000.

That's why fundraising will continue until the end of October, when we will complete the purchase.

To help make that possible, Wildlife Trust trustees have agreed in principle to secure a low-interest impact loan to bridge any remaining funding gap.  

But every pound we raise between now and the end of October means less borrowing is needed, protecting funding for nature’s recovery at The Rothbury Estate.

The match funding applies to all donations made before the end of October up to £150,000, including those made via the main appeal page. The main page tracks progress towards our £30 million target to secure The Rothbury Estate and protect this remarkable landscape for nature and people.

Thanks to generous support including philanthropic loans, we have already purchased part of The Rothbury Estate, which includes the much-loved Simonside Hills.
