Today The Wildlife Trusts unveil a new vice president and two new ambassadors, bringing fresh energy and expertise to nature’s recovery across the UK’s land, shores, seas and beyond.
The Wildlife Trusts have enlisted the expertise of David Oakes - actor and ecologist, Inka Cresswell - a marine biologist and ocean wildlife filmmaker, and Louis VI - a musician, zoologist and nature activist, to help ‘supercharge’ the restoration of wildlife and wild spaces. Their appointments come at a pivotal moment for nature’s recovery, with less than 4 years remaining for the UK to meet its international commitment to protect 30% nature on land and at sea by 2030.
