From wandering whales, to sea-spanning sharks, soaring seabirds and migrating molluscs - our precious seas are full of incredible journeys. This year we're celebrating some of the most special journeys during National Marine Week.
As tide times vary around our coasts, National Marine Week is 16 days long to make sure everyone can take advantage of the best tides and experience marine life at Wildlife Trust events.

What are incredible journeys?
Nature is full of amazing journeys. There are molluscs battling across rockpools, Arctic terns soaring from pole to pole and eels and salmon travelling from rivers to the open ocean. Let's dive in together and learn about some of these adventures...
Make a pledge for the sea
Small everyday choices can have a big impact on the wild world around us. You may live many miles from the sea, but that doesn't mean that you can't make a difference. Your actions do matter!
This National Marine Week, will you make one simple change for marine wildlife?
Choose from three pledges:
- Watch what you wash down the sink
- If you eat fish, choose sustainable seafood
- Reduce your use of single-use plastics
If you sign up to receive emails, we'll send you useful guides to help you with your pledge.
Go along to an event!
