A simple and practical way for your business to support nature
Corporate donations play a vital role in our work to support nature’s recovery. Your business can make charitable donations to The Wildlife Trusts by contacting us below to arrange payment via BACS.

Corporate donations FAQs
What types of corporate donations do you accept?
We accept unrestricted and project‑restricted donations from businesses, including one‑off gifts, regular payments, and 1% for the Planet contributions. If you’d like your support to go towards a particular appeal or area of work, please contact us to discuss your preferences.
Can we donate online or by bank transfer (BACS)?
Yes. Donations can be made online, or you can contact us to receive BACS bank details by filling out this form here.
Can donations be directed to a local Wildlife Trust?
Yes. Businesses can choose to support our work nationally or direct their donation to a specific local Wildlife Trust delivering action on the ground. Find your local Wildlife Trust.
Can our donation count towards 1% for the Planet?
Yes. As an approved 1% for the Planet environmental partner, eligible donations can count towards your annual 1% giving commitment. Please visit our dedicated page here.
Will our donation be certified or verified?
We can formally acknowledge and certify eligible donations to support your 1% for the Planet reporting, audit requirements, and wider ESG disclosures.
What if our donation is linked to sales, products or services?
If a donation is linked to the sale of goods or services, and you would like to tell your customers that you are making a donation, then charity and fundraising law will require a Commercial Participation Agreement in advance to ensure transparency and compliance. Please contact us above if you’d like to discuss an agreement.
How do you assess whether a business is a good fit for a commercial participation agreement?
We work with businesses whose activities, products or services align with our environmental values. This helps protect the integrity of our work and ensures credibility for all parties. Browse here to see some examples of our partnerships.
Can we communicate our donation publicly?
Businesses are welcome to reference their charitable support publicly where this has been agreed in advance and communicated accurately. Additional requirements apply where donations are linked to sales, products or services (see above) or if you wish to use our logo. Please contact us above to discuss any public communications of donations.
Is there a minimum or maximum donation amount?
Donations of all sizes (above £1) are welcome, whether one‑off or ongoing.
How is our donation used?
Donations enable The Wildlife Trusts to deliver our mission for nature, supporting our work nationally and locally and giving us the flexibility to use funds where they are most needed.
