Make a bee-line to the mainline! Stafford Railway Station's pollinator makeover

Volunteers Stafford
It's great to look at - and great for the insects too!

Staffordshire Wildlife Trust have teamed up with Cross Country Trains (via their Customer & Communities Improvement Fund) and Avanti West Coast Rail to bring a splash of colour and wildlife to Stafford Railway Station!

A group of fantastic volunteers have been hard at work building, moving, and filling two pollinator-friendly planters for platforms 3 and 4 — and they’re now ready for planting!

Not only will these planters support local wildlife, but we hope they’ll brighten up the station and inspire more people to get involved.
