About The Ernest Cook Trust

The Ernest Cook Charitable Trust is a UK educational charity whose important work helps nurture a lifelong journey of learning, appreciation and respect for the countryside through a range of Outdoor Learning experiences. They believe that every person should know the feeling of being utterly captivated and intrigued by nature.

How The Ernest Cook Trust is supporting The Wildlife Trusts

The Ernest Cook Trust is supporting our new ‘Bringing Nature into Teaching’ programme. With their funding we will develop new ways of training and supporting school staff to bring nature into the classroom, take lessons outside and meaningfully integrate wildlife into pupils’ daily school life. Over the next three years we will be supporting teachers, teaching assistants and leaders in schools to feel confident leading learning outdoors.
