Who gets to feel that nature belongs to them?

It's a question most nature documentaries never ask.

But it's at the heart of Nature Ain't A Luxury, a powerful new film by musician, filmmaker and nature activist Louis VI, created in partnership with The Wildlife Trusts.

The film explores why so many people, particularly young people from black and brown communities, still feel excluded from nature.

When more people feel that nature belongs to them, more people will fight for it.

By donating today, you'll help launch this groundbreaking film and build momentum for a nationwide programme of community screenings, discussions and workshops designed to inspire people to take action for nature where they live.

Nature Ain't A Luxury is about more than a film.

This October, Nature Ain't A Luxury has the opportunity to premiere at Wildscreen Festival, placing its message in front of broadcasters, conservation leaders, partners and new audiences from around the world.

"I'm really excited about reframing what ‘nature’ is in the UK.

"That Nature Ain't A Luxury but a necessity.

"I hope it awakens a sleeping herd of young people, particularly from lower economic backgrounds and diasporas, to reconnect to nature.”

Louis VI

The premiere is more than a screening.

  • It's a chance to put a new vision for nature on the national stage.
  • A vision where nature is not something for a select few.
  • A vision where everyone can see themselves in the movement to restore our natural world.

With your help, we can seize that opportunity.

Please donate today and help launch a movement for nature.
