On the east bank of the River Chelmer, you’ll find Little Waltham Meadows, a beautiful mix of old flood and dry meadows and Alder Carr woodland, bursting with wildlife
Situated in the centre of Cheadle the nature reserve surrounds a 1.25km stretch of Cecilly Brook
The meandering Piddle Brook and three adjacent meadows are rich in wildflowers and wildlife.
The open space, small lakes and pine forest of East Wretham make this large heathland a fantastic place to visit all year round.
