Salary: £17,500 pro rata (temporary 6 month post)

The Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire are looking for a committed individual to join the dynamic reserves team managing 50 reserves in the county including grassland and ancient woodland for a temporary 6-month post.
The post will focus on delivering habitat management on a cluster of ancient semi-natural woodlands in West Cambridgeshire. The post will be mainly based on site doing practical woodland management work such as coppicing, tree felling, fencing etc. but will be required to work across the county where necessary.
You should be able to work closely with colleagues and be prepared to undertake a wide variety of other practical and office based tasks.
Qualifications: Chainsaw and brushcutter qualifications, driving licence and a first aid certificate essential. An understanding of the principles of ecology and habitat management is also essential.
Location: The Manor House, Broad Street, Great Cambourne, Cambridgeshire, CB23 6DH
Full-time: 37.5 hours per week.
