Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is one of the UK’s fastest growing environmental organisations and seeks to appoint a Reserves Officer (Leeds City Region).
The Reserves Officer will be responsible for managing and developing a suite of LCC owned reserves across SE Leeds. The post holder will develop and implement management plans and work programmes using a network of volunteers, trainees, contractors and staff to ensure that reserves are managed to a high standard for wildlife and for people.
The successful applicant will have experience of reserve management and of writing management plans. They will be self motivated whilst willing to work as part of a team. They will have excellent communication skills as well as a ‘can do’ approach to work. A full clean driving license is essential.
