To celebrate National Marine Week, we'll be heading onto the beach by the Pier at St Anne's-on-Sea to to celebrate the exciting marine life of our Irish Sea by making sand-sculptures of turtles, seastars, porpoises, sharks and sand other sea-creatures .
To celebrate National Marine Week, we'll be heading onto the beach by the Pier at St Anne's-on-Sea to make sand-sculptures of turtles, seastars, porpoises, sharks and sand other sea-creatures to celebrate the exciting marine life of our Irish Sea. We'll also be looking at the shells on the beach and other clues to what lives beneath the waves. Please bring buckets and spades! Children must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at 2.00 pm by the Pier on the Promenade at St Anne's-on-Sea, Lytham St Annes, Fylde Borough, Lancashire FY8 2NG. We expect the event to end around 4.00 pm. The event will be cancelled if the weather is inclement and/or the sea is exceptionally rough!!
