Celebrate our 50th anniversary with a day at this very special site

The first part of the day takes place at Hutton Roof Village Hall (suitable for wheelchairs). This is a chance to awaken your cherished wildlife memories, share magical historic wildlife moments and enjoy a fascinating speech from Cumbria Wildlife Trust’s Director, Peter Bullard. This is followed by tea and delicious cakes baked by a local bakery. The second leg of this event takes place at Hutton Roof Crags Nature Reserve. View the momentous unveiling of our new nature reserve board, and  take part in an informative walk - delight in all the fantastic fauna and flora this nature reserve holds. Paths can be narrow, muddy and uneven, and may cross limestone pavement. The length of this walk is 2 miles. Please bring appropriate outdoor clothing. This event is free but booking is essential. To book call 01539 816300.
