Emmy award winning British composer George Fenton conducts the Philharmonia Orchestra and special guest soloist Haley Glennie-Smith, in a breathtaking production of Planet Earth in Concert.

This stunning performance combines emotional and provocative live orchestra music with awe-inspiring reworked HD footage from the landmark series Planet Earth. The performances are listed below.

Rules of the competition

 

  • The winner will receive a pair of tickets for a performance of their choice (subject to availability) to Planet Earth in Concert (as detailed above). See www.planetearthinconcert.com for details of performance dates and venues.
  • The prize gives entry to the performance only – it does not include transport to the venue or overnight accommodation.
  • Two runners-up will each receive a Planet Earth Goody bag, consisting of a Planet Earth CD, DVD and book.
  • This competition is only open to UK residents. Any Wildlife Trust employee or their immediate family may not enter.
  • Any entry which is incomplete, unreadable or submitted after 5pm on Thursday 30 August will be invalid.
  • The deadline for entries is 5pm on Thursday 30 August 2012.
  • Prize winners will be drawn at random on Friday 31 August 2012 and notified the same day.
  • The tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
  • The winner's name and county may be published on the websites of the local Wildlife Trust or The Wildlife Trusts.
  • Any winner who does not reply to notification within 2 days will forfeit their prize. A new winner will be drawn from the remaining correct entries.
  • The winning pair of tickets will be available to pick up at the box office on the day of the performance.
  • The Wildlife Trusts' decision on anything relating to this competition is final.
