Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust is looking for an enthusiastic person to help deliver our new Sherwood’s Historic Heathlands Project. Funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, this programme will provide education, engagement and outreach work to community groups, schools and the public.
The successful applicant will have a track record of encouraging participation in outdoor learning, and an understanding of the barriers facing young people, families from deprived areas and BME communities in accessing nature.
A good understanding of nature conservation, species identification and the value of heritage would be an advantage. Occasional weekend, Bank Holiday and evening working will be required.
This is a two-year, part-time post. Closing date: 10am, Monday 30th April 2012
Interview date: Tuesday 15th May 2012
