Wiltshire Wildlife Trust is looking for an expereinced Administrator to support the Head of Fundraising and Communications in all aspects of the day to day running of the section. You will also work with other Section Coordinators to ensure uniformity of approach to administration and HR across the Trust.

We are looking for an experienced Administrator who has the ability to work proactively and can demonstrate good levels of initiative and self reliance. In this challenging position, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the fundraising and communications section and will support the Head of Section in managing and coordinating the day-to-day workload, including the collation of major fundraising proposals and assisting with the Trust’s website. You will support the process for producing annual work programmes and the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of work. You will also assist the Head of Section with the budgetary process with a particular emphasis on monitoring expenditure and financial reporting. You will have experience of Performance Management and be responsible co-ordinating progress against Key Performance Indicators for the section.
You will be involved in diary management, administrative support for meetings and effective correspondence using a range of office software. You will also act as the central point of contact for all HR issues.
The successful candidate will also work with a team of other Section Coordinators to ensure uniformity of approach to administration and HR across the Trust, ensuring compliance with standard operating standards and policies and developing new systems and processes in order to maximise efficiency and ensure alignment to the Trust’s Strategic Plan.
You will have achieved a high level of education and will have experience of working in a Senior Administrator role. You should have previously worked at supervisor level and you will have excellent team building skills with a good coaching style and the ability to motivate others. We are looking for a highly organised individual who has previously dealt with budgetary management, purchasing and HR issues. Experience of fundraising and/or communications is desirable.
Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you are highly computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Web, PowerPoint and Excel. Some previous experience in the charity sector would be an advantage, as would knowledge of sustainability and environmental issues.
