Salary: £18,646 – 20,200 pa + 7% pension

You will carry out habitat management plus conservation projects and facilitate appropriate and safe visitor access at Rutland Water Nature Reserve, an outstanding and internationally important wetland recently extended to cover nearly 400 hectares.
You have wide experience of habitat management and nature conservation delivery particularly in relation to extensive wetland areas plus visitor access and management on nature reserves. In addition you are an excellent ornithologist plus licensed bird ringer with good knowledge of wildlife surveying, recording and monitoring.
You will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills able to harness the commitment and enthusiasm of volunteers to deliver practical nature conservation operations safely and efficiently.
