Policy Officer - Greater Lincolnshire Nature Partnership

Salary: £18,000-22,000

Location: Horncastle, Lincolnshire

We have an exciting opportunity for a strong communicator with experience of policy work preferably in spatial planning or with the agricultural sector. The Policy Officer will be an advocate for nature taking forward the priorities of the GLNP.

You should have experience of working with a range of stakeholders in order to negotiate policy outcomes. A clear understanding of biodiversity legislation and policy is essential as is broad knowledge of the Biodiversity Action Planning process. A relevant environmental qualification and a full current UK driving licence are also required.

The GLNP is one of the new government accredited Local Nature Partnerships, and will take over from its predecessor organisation, the Lincolnshire Biodiversity Partnership, in November. The Policy Officer will be employed by the hosting organisation; the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust.
