Derbyshire Wildlife Trust is looking for someone who is self-motivated, with a good background in environmental education/community engagement and a passion for wildlife
An exciting new post has been created at Derbyshire Wildlife Trust to inspire and engage people with the Heritage Lottery funded Peregrines, People and Places Project. A pair of Peregrine Falcons have nested on Derby Cathedral since 2006 and a partnership of DWT, Derby City Council, Derby Cathedral and Cathedral Quarter businesses set up webcams and watch points every year. This new post will enable us to reach wider audiences and engage communities and schools even more with these magnificent birds.
The post is for 3 days per week from January to July 2013 and again from April to July in 2014. In addition, we hope to provide related project work in between those periods but cannot guarantee this will be available.
If you are self motivated, with a good background in environmental education/ community engagement and a passion for wildlife and environmental issues, then this could be an ideal opportunity for you. The successful candidate will be subject to a CRB check.
Interviews: 26th November 2012
