The Northern Devon Nature Improvement Area (NIA) is an exciting and prestigious project, which aims to create a thriving and flourishing landscape, teeming with wildlife and providing a range of socio-economic benefits to landowners and local people. The project is being delivered by the North Devon UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Partnership, with Devon Wildlife Trust as the lead partner. It is one of only 12 projects nationally, and was selected by Defra through a highly competitive process.
This new post will be responsible for leading on the delivery of woodland related outputs for the project, which encompass woodland creation, management and restoration, allied to the support and promotion of the local woodland economy.
This is one of 4 posts being advertised for the NIA delivery team; please see our website http://www.devonwildlifetrust.org/job-vacancies/ for further details and application packs.
