Closing date: Friday 21st December 2012
Location: Nottinghamshire
Would you like to earn some extra income by doing something that you really believe in? Do you have 16-20 hours a week (flexible) to spare, during weekday evenings/weekend afternoons? Would you like to help Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust find some new members in your area and beyond?
Home based, you will be working for FMR Solutions Ltd, a fundraising agency, on behalf of Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust.
Following a tried and tested “soft approach” formula, the post involves a bit of market research undertaken by walking around your local area (and beyond), asking residents a simple yes/no question about their interest in wildlife conservation and leaving information booklets about Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust with interested people. The work combines gentle outdoor exercise with good potential earnings. No selling involved. £516.53 per month (for 16 hours a week) + excellent bonuses for exceeding mutually agreed weekly target. Seasonal, typically March – October. You will have good all round communication skills, be socially confident in a wide variety of situations, and be good at organising your time and motivating yourself. You will have a genuine interest in wildlife conservation, but expert knowledge is not required. You will have your own transport (bicycle OK in cities and larger towns). This post does not involve any selling or persuasion, but some sales, marketing, promotion, face to face public engagement experience or similar, is desirable. Full training is provided.
