Nature Improvement Area Programme Manager

Salary: £26,000 p.a plus up to 6% employer pension contribution

Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is one of the UK’s fastest growing environmental organisations and seeks to appoint a NIA Programme Manager to manage the Humberhead Levels NIA programme. The Programme is one of only 12 projects nationally, and was selected by Defra through a highly competitive process.

Based within Yorkshire Wildlife Trust’s South and West Team, the Programme Manager will ensure the effective delivery of the NIA programme by working closely with partners and reporting to the Humberhead Levels Partnership Executive.

The successful candidate will have experience of project management with significant financial responsibility. In addition they will be articulate with a keen eye for detail and good communication skills as well as campaigning and media experience. They will be able to work independently as well as part of a team with a professional and results orientated approach. A full, clean driving license is required as many of the areas they are required to cover may not be accessible by public transport.
