Membership Recruiters: Door-to-Door / Face-to-Face

Salary: Salary + commission (contact for details)

Closing date: Monday 11th March 2013

Location: Throughout North Wales

Looking to supplement your income? Looking for work suiting applicants of all ages? Looking to help support wildlife in North Wales? We want to hear from you! North Wales Wildlife Trust are looking for people to join our membership recruiting team to spread the message about our work and sign up new supporters. Opportunities are available both for door-to-door and face-to-face recruiters. In both cases, there is no hard sell involved and we provide you with full training and guidance to get you started.

The role: Door-to-door recruitment is a simple soft-sell, two-step approach. You hand out booklets to interested people at their houses and on a pre-arranged day you go back, pick up the booklet and sign up any interested parties. Face-to-face recruitment involves attending a pre-arranged site or event, representing the Trust and signing up new supporters of our cause.

Hours: 12-15 per week

Duration: Permanent, seasonal (subject to completion of a probationary period)

Requirements: Applicants must be enthusiastic and reliable with above average communication and interpersonal skills. We welcome applications from people who are outgoing and enjoy meeting people from all walks of life. Sales experience is desirable although no previous experience is necessary as full training is provided. Access to your own transport is essential.

Pay: Recruiters receive a basic wage plus a generous commission for each new member signed up once an agreed threshold is attained. It’s a great way to supplement your income and help the Trust at the same time.

About us: North Wales Wildlife Trust is an independent charity; part of The Wildlife Trusts network that works for the protection of all forms of wildlife and their habitats. Work is carried out at local levels and involves managing nature reserves, acting as a watchdog for threats to the wider countryside, providing environmental education for all age groups and involving volunteers in all aspects of the work.

Our members provide a vital source of support for the Trust’s work. Membership fees generate the unrestricted income essential for protecting our local wildlife and habitats.
