Since 1995, FMR Solutions Ltd - a specialist fundraising company - has been successfully promoting membership of wildlife conservation charities, using a well established "soft approach" method, which does not require any kind of selling or persuasion.
This method generates valuable committed ongoing supporters, who generally give significantly more than the minimum membership amount.
FMR Solutions Ltd has vacancies for Membership Promoters in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire Northamptonshire and Peterborough
Whatever your work/life experience, you'll need to be a confident communicator, have an interest in wildlife conservation/environmental issues (expert knowledge not needed!) and also be looking for part- time, flexible work - perhaps to support an existing income, and are happy to consider working on a self-employed type basis. Your own transport is definitely an advantage if you live outside the big cities.
Membership Promoters undertake house-calling in the more prosperous areas - primarily on weekday evenings/weekends and leave booklets about The Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire Northamptonshire and Peterborough with those members of the public who express an interest. The booklet is then collected on another occasion, with the intention of completing a Direct Debit for those who wish to offer their support.
