We are looking for a driven and proven sales person with excellent marketing skills to sell the work of Cheshire Wildlife Trust and in doing so increase income. You need to be able to balance big picture strategic planning with delivering the day to day tasks and challenging targets. Cheshire Wildlife Trust’s 12,000 members provide the financial foundation for us to build our vital conservation work upon. Therefore the Marketing and Membership Officer position is a crucial role within the Trust.
The role will involve developing strategic membership recruitment and retention initiatives, motivating and managing a team so that they achieve challenging membership targets as well as your own personal income generation and membership retention targets.
A typical week in the job will involve working with the Fundraising Manager and Events Assistant to plan future fun membership recruitment and retention events and initiatives, getting out to a nature reserve and personally recruiting new members face to face, dealing with existing member’s queries and administration, and motivating your team to achieve their targets through regular communication and monitoring.
