Salary: Up to £36,000 plus an annual performance bonus
Closing date: Monday 26th November 2012
Location: Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne
EcoNorth (www.econorth.co.uk) is a highly respected environmental and ecological consulting firm operating primarily in the North-East of England. Founded three years ago as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Northumberland Wildlife Trust, we have built up a strong client list and are experiencing a rapidly growing revenue and profit base. We are now looking to recruit an experienced Managing Director to consolidate this success and to continue to develop and grow the business.
You will have demonstrable experience of consulting in areas similar to those in which EcoNorth operates. With a blend of commercial acumen, technical knowledge and strong communication skills, you will have held a senior business position in at least one such consultancy.
You will be responsible for identifying new business, developing client relationships and managing the finances of the firm, together with project management on key assignments and the coordination and delivery of a range of contracts including site surveys, environmental impact assessments and practical environmental improvement projects.
This is a unique opportunity for the right individual to make a mark in a largely independent commercial business, but with access to the support and knowledge of a flourishing Wildlife Trust.
The position is offered initially on a two year contract, renewable based on satisfactory performance related to agreed income raising targets.
The post is full-time, and the salary offered is up to £36,000 plus an annual performance bonus.
The job pack for the role and information on EcoNorth are attached.
The closing date for applications is 4pm on Monday 26 November 2012, with interviews being held on Tuesday 4 December 2012.
