The Partnership has been awarded outline permission to develop a £2.5 million Heritage Lottery funded project in the Lower Derwent Valley, stretching from Matlock to Derby and the setting for the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site. The role of the Development Officer will be to carry out a comprehensive programme of research, information gathering, match funding bids and community engagement, to produce a Landscape Conservation Action Plan, in order to secure full permission to proceed with the project. You must have excellent partnership, funding and project management experience and a good understanding of natural and cultural heritage issues and community engagement.
