Kielderhead Wildwood Project Assistant

Salary: Scale starts at £16,305 (pro rata for 17.5 hours £8,152) per annum

Closing date: Monday 15th January 2018

Location: Kielder Castle Forest Park Centre, Kielder Village, Hexham, NE48 1ER. Frequent travel to St Nicholas Park, Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne and other project sites will be expected.

To lead volunteer delivery and people engagement activities, and contribute to the promotion and interpretation of the HLF funded Kielderhead Wildwood restoration project ( a partnership project between NWT and Forestry Commission England to restore a remnant, native Scots pine upland woodland near the Scottish border).

The role is offered on a temporary contract to ending 31 December 2022 and is for 17.5 hours a week. Salary £8,152 per annum.
