Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is one of the UK's fastest growing environmental organisations and seeks to appoint a part-time Inspiring People Officer at Potteric Carr Nature Reserve.
This post is designed to manage, co-ordinate, develop and deliver an education and community engagement programme based at Potteric Carr Nature Reserve but delivering within the wider Doncaster and Humberhead Levels region. The Education Officer will work alongside the Inspiring People Assistant to deliver a successful engagement programme that engages the local community, and in particular families, schools and school children.
The successful applicant will have environmental education experience as well as experience of working with communities. They will be highly IT literate with excellent communication and presentation skills. They will be used to working independently but also as part of a team and have a dynamic and creative approach to the project.
The post is subject to a CRB check at enhanced level.
