The Grants Administrator will provide a range of secretarial and administrative service to support the Biffa Award Programme Manager and team. In this pivotal role the Grant Administrator will coordinate enquiries and grant applications in respect of the Biffa Award. The Grants Administrator will also provide administrative support by maintaining filing systems, photocopying documents and assisting in the provision of training events. Distributing and assisting in the preparation of reports when required the Grants Administrator will manage requests for advice and information by electronic, verbal and written communication. The Grants Administrator will have substantial and strong experience of providing administrative and secretarial support and also with Microsoft Office packages to record manipulative data. Some knowledge of financial and grant application administration would be beneficial along with a high degree of organisation and administrative skills. The Grants Administrator basic understanding of funding allocation procedures as well as excellent customer care and customer management skills is essential. The Grants Administrator is a part time, permanent position working 21 hours per week.
