Gloucester Community Development Officer

Salary: £21,000

Location: Gloucester, Gloucestershire

Robinswood Hill Country Park is a fantastically diverse but underused site on the edge of Gloucester. We are embarking on an exciting Heritage Lottery funded project in partnership with Gloucester City Council and Gloucester City Homes to encourage local communities to make more use of the Hill via a range of events and activities developed in consultation with local people. These will be designed to showcase the special heritage of Robinswood Hill including natural history, archaeology and geology.

We are looking for an experienced community development officer to deliver this project. The ideal candidate will have a background in social engagement and the ability to work with community groups to devise and implement an exciting programme of events, volunteering opportunities, education and interpretation to engage local people.
