Cheshire Wildlife Trust has an exciting opportunity as part of a new fundraising team. Fundraising and building excellent, long-term relationships with our donors are vitally important for the future of the Wildlife Trust. Working alongside our Conservation and People and Wildlife teams, the Fundraising Manager will develop and deliver a full fundraising strategy including individual and corporate members, legacies and major donors.
The successful candidate will need to have a good knowledge of fundraising and donor stewardship with proven experience of achieving difficult targets in a competitive environment. They should have excellent customer care, communication and interpersonal skills, creativity and the ability to develop successful relationships, as well as experience in developing and delivering a successful fundraising strategy. The ideal candidate will share our organisational values and have a passion for wildlife and the natural environment.
The post covers the whole Cheshire region and will primarily be based at Bickley Hall Farm, Bickley, Cheshire, SY14 8EF. This is a full-time post (35 hrs per week) and will involve evening and weekend working for which time off in lieu will be available. A part-time post may be considered for an exceptional candidate.
