Fundraising Manager

Salary: Up to £25,000 p.a. (depending on experience)

Cheshire Wildlife Trust is offering an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our team in this newly created role. Fundraising and building excellent, long-term relationships with our donors are vitally important for the future of the Wildlife Trust. The post holder will develop and deliver a fundraising strategy including corporate members, legacies and major donors, working alongside our Membership, Conservation and People and Wildlife teams.

The successful candidate will need to have a good knowledge of fundraising and donor stewardship. They will have proven experience of achieving difficult targets in a competitive environment. They should have excellent customer care, communication and interpersonal skills, creativity and the ability to develop successful relationships with a wide range of people. A high level of IT competency and knowledge of contact database systems would be an advantage. The ideal candidate will share our organisational values and have a passion for wildlife and the natural environment.

The post covers the whole Cheshire region and will be based at Bickley Hall Farm, Bickley, Cheshire, SY14 8EF. This is a full-time post (35 hrs per week) and will involve evening and weekend working for which time off in lieu will be available. A part-time post may be considered for an exceptional candidate.
