Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is one of the UK’s fastest growing environmental organisations and seeks to appoint a Communications Assistant.
3 month contract
The Communications Assistant will assist on our work with the press across Yorkshire ensuring that our media releases and responses to enquiries are delivering the key messages of the Trust, that we are building strong, lucrative relationships with the press and that we have a coherent press strategy. The post holder will work closely with the Communications Officer to further develop the Trust’s website, e-communications and social media presence. They will also help with the development of publications and interpretation work as required.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with media and a keen desire to improve thieir skills and abilities. In addition they will have a superb eye for detail and an understanding of the importance and application of the Trust’s brand guidelines and the communications strategy.
