We are looking for a Project Officer to work in a small team to help deliver the Chat Moss landscape scale wetland restoration and community project. This will include designing and delivering a wide range of wetland habitat restoration works (incl. lowland raised bog), as well as helping establish strong links with the local community through supporting volunteering, working with land owners, and helping raise awareness of the importance of wetland habitats.
The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside are a leading Wildlife Conservation Charity. We are one of the largest Wildlife Trusts, with around 100 staff and major ‘Living Landscape and Living Seas’ projects as well as the new Brockholes Nature Reserve.

Normal hours are 9.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. Monday - Friday (inc. ½ hour lunch-break which is unpaid) although flexibility will be required as this post will involve evening and weekend working. This post is supported by the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund and by WREN (Waste Recycling Environmental Limited).
