Cathkin Marsh, a wetland reserve on the south-eastern edge of Glasgow, needs an enthusiastic individual to implement its established management plan. Working with stakeholders, contractors, neighbouring landowners and volunteers the successful candidate will carry out habitat creation, key species survey and monitoring, and help promote the site through the delivery of an environmental education programme.
Applicants must hold HNC or above in relevant or equivalent discipline and be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge relevant for the position, a passion for wider nature conservation and excellent communication, organisational and IT skills are essential. A driving licence and the ability to work some weekends are also essential.
