A living legacy
Bill Payn left a gift in his will which helped Suffolk Wildlife Trust to purchase Micklemere nature reserve. An oasis for wetland birds, this site delights visitors and will continue to do so forever – all because one man took the time to remember wildlife in his will.

Wildflowers forever
Heather Black had an interest in the wildflowers and butterflies of the Ulster Wildlife Trust’s Umbra Nature Reserve and left a share of her estate to Ulster Wildlife Trust. Heather’s love of wildlife lives on in the work that Ulster Wildlife Trust is doing today.
