We need extra volunteers to help manage the habitats on the Cutacre Nature Reserve over the Spring and Summer months. Regular wildlife monitoring training days available, read more here...

The Cutacre volunteers meet on the first Sunday and Monday of each month to carry out tasks aimed at improving wildlife and access onto the reserve. Jobs include drainage, sowing wildflower seeds, checking and re-stocking hedgerows and of course monitoring our wonderful grazers, the cows and ponies.

Cutacre is an amazing place to visit where the kestrels and buzzards can regularly be spotted hunting the abundant field voles. Snipe and other waders make good use of the wet grasslands, and stoat and foxes can be seen around the boundaries. We also regular wildlife monitoring training days.

New volunteers are always welcome, so come and be part of this exciting wildlife venture.
