13 December 2017 - 1:30pm - 3:00pm

National Lottery players are invited to join us for a tour of Woodberry Wetlands in north London

As part of the 'thank you' campaign for National Lottery players we are leading a guided walk of Woodberry Wetlands, which in May 2016 was opened to the public for the first time in 200 years thanks to the support of Heritage Lottery Fund.

The nature reserve is now a thriving habitat for migratory birds and is one of London Wildlife Trust’s top visitor attractions. Hedgerows and wildflowers line the banks of the reservoir, while newly-created reedbed extensions provide a wetland haven for waterfowl.

A Trust officer who helps manage Woodberry Wetlands will lead the tour and explain the fascinating history that has shaped this incredible wildlife habitat in Manor House, Hackney.
