A three week evening feltmaking course 12th, 19th & 26th November.
In this 3 week evening course we will look at using both wet and needle felting techniques. Your tutor, Toni Peers; who has over 10 years experience in teaching crafts, will guide you through making your first piece of flat felt, which can be used in a variety of projects and in week 2 we will explore needle felting techniques for embellishing and making 3D shapes. Over the 3 weeks we will create and embellish felt that can then be used in week 3 to create decorations such as Christmas bunting, a felted wreath to hang on your door, or individual felted decorations.
Week 1, 12th November: Explore wet felting techniques to create felt used to make Christmas bunting in week 3
Week 2, 19th November: Needle –Felting techniques
Week 3, 26th November: Using felt made in week 1 and 2 to create bunting, Christmas wreath and/or other decorations.
