Event details
18 September 2013 - 7:00pm - 9:00pm
A short AGM followed by updates from staff on some of our work during the year. After a short break, we are pleased to welcome our keynote speaker, Stephen Moss. Stephen is a radio and TV broadcaster and producer who will be known to many of you from his books and newspaper columns on birds and other wildlife. He was the original Springwatch producer (which won a BAFTA award) and has worked with David Attenborough, Bill Oddie, Alan Titchmarsh, Chris Packham and many others. Now a freelance nature writer and presenter, (as well as a Vice President of Somerset Wildlife Trust), Stephen will be talking about “what makes British wildlife so special”, a talk generously illustrated with video clips and anecdotes from his 30 year career with the BBC Natural History Unit. The evening will conclude with an opportunity to ask Stephen those burning questions you might have such as just how they managed to capture such amazing images of British wildlife or even where to enjoy the best wildlife watching on the Somerset Levels!
Teas and coffees will be served
