A three week evening jewellery course 10th, 17th & 24th September.
In this 3 week evening course we will look at how to make beads from Polymer clay (fimo). We will use a variety of techniques including canework and inlay to create our beads and then once they are baked, your tutor Toni will teach you some basic jewellery making techniques to make your beads into something to wear. In week 3, Toni will also introduce you to Friendly plastic, which can be melted with an embossing gun to create a variety of colourful moulded pieces suitable for funky jewellery. By the end of this course you will have created many colourful beads and also several pieces of unique jewellery.
Week 1, 10th September: Intro to Polymer Clay techniques
Week 2, 17th September: More beads, canework, varnishing and finishing off
Week 3, 24th September: Friendly Plastic and jewellery techniques to make completed pieces
