A peaceful early evening paddle with Canoe2 and the Wildlife Trust.

Paddle the River Nene in a Canoe2 Canadian canoe starting at Ditchford Lock in Northamptonshire.  At the end of your paddle you will be met back at Ditchford Lock by Wildlife Trust experts just as the bats are starting to come out.  After a refreshing summer’s evening drink you will be taken on a guided walk around Ditchford Nature Reserve to see and hear the bats as dusk settles.  Everyone will have the opportunity to use a bat detector which picks up the ultrasonic frequencies used by the bats as they hunt.

Booking is required.
