Event details

21 August 2013 - 10:00am - 3:00pm

Join us for a day of bracken pulling in beautiful Fox Hagg.

In addition to our regular work days at Wyming Brook and Fox Hagg, summer sees some extra special invasive species control!  In our ongoing battle with the bracken, many hands really does make light work - join us for the whole day, or just an hour or two in the morning, all help is greatly appreciated.

All volunteer days start at 10am and finish at 3pm. Gloves, tools, and refreshments are provided, but please wear suitable outdoor clothes and boots, and bring some lunch and drinking water if you're able to join us for the whole day.

We will be meeting at the Lodge Lane car park, at the eastern end of Fox Hagg.  However, please note that parking space is very limited, and we would advise parking up on Redmires Road, or catching the number 51 bus to the Blackbrook Road stop.
