Did you know Danes Moss is home to around a dozen different kinds of dragonfly and damselfly, plus even more butterflies and birds?
This year we’ve been making changes so even more of the reserve is available to watch these aerial acrobats in action. Mid-summer is probably the best time of year to join us as we explore the reserve, where dragonfly numbers can be so high that they come and land on visitors! Why not come and see the real dragon’s den?
Remember stout footwear and binoculars/optical equipment if you have them.
